The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) recently awarded Dr. Deborah R. Blanchard with the Mastership Award, one of the most rigorous continuing dental education awards offered today; only 4% of general dentists have earned this award. On Saturday, July 22, 2023, she joined 83 other dentists when she achieved this prestigious honor during the AGD's scientific session in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Over the past 47 years, nearly 4,000 dentists worldwide completed 1,100 hours of coursework in the 16 areas of dentistry to receive the Mastership Award from the AGD, a professional association of more than 40,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up to date in the profession through continuing education. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Dr. Blanchard's career because the award demonstrates her long-term commitment to go above and beyond continuing education requirements to provide her patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and superior patient care.
